Guests staying at the Walt Disney World Resort have access to all complimentary transportation on site. Disney offers boats, buses and monorails to take you from one point to another. Regular day guests can use Disney Transportation also. To take advantage of this feature you must get on at the Transportation and Ticket Center which is located near the Magic Kingdom. MONORAIL
When you think of Disney Transportation the first thing that comes to your mind is probably the Monorail System. The monorail is free and takes guests to and from Magic Kingdom, Transporation and Ticket Center, Polynesian Resort, Grand Floridian Resort, Contemporary and Epcot. Monorails run from 1 hour before park opening to 1 hour after park closing.
Buses
Bus service is the cornerstone of Disney Transporation. This is what is accessed the most. Buses take you to and from every resort, park, water park and Downtown Disney. Buses usually arrive ever 15 to 20 minutes. Buses run 1 hour before park opening until about 1 hour after park closing.

Boats
The boats at Disney are not only practical but enjoyable to ride. Boats go to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, Swan & Dolphin Resort, Polynesian, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness Campground and more. The Disney boats start operating 1 hour prior to park opening and 1 hour after park closing.
