Disney has tons of boating fun for you while on your vacation. You can rent canoes, pontoon boats, sailboats, speedboats, pedal boats and canopy boats. You can even go parasailing, watersking, wakeboarding and even tubing.
You can go exploring on Bay Lake or Seven Seas Lagoon. Several resorts also have a lake available where you can go boating.
To be able to rent a boat you must show either a resort ID, driver's license or a valid passport. Prices for rental range depending on how long you want to rent and what you want to rent.
NOTE: You can not bring your own boat.
With so many lakes around Disney World your sure to get in some good fishing. In Disney World the policy is catch and then release. Want to go on a fishing excursion? If so call 407-939-7529 for prices and times. Your price includes a guide, gear and refreshments. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance and be made up to 180 days ahead. You can fish on your own off the dock at Downtown Disney Marketplace, Board Walk, the fishing hole at Port Orleans Riverside and Fort Wilderness. Guests can fish from any of the campground shores. Licenses are not required.
Want to go horse back riding? Disney World offers guided horseback rides that are perfect for the experienced all the way down to the beginner. Tours are about 45 minutes and take place at Fort Wilderness Resort. Children under nine are not allowed to ride but they can hop on the ponies in the petting farm. Also there is a weight limit of 250 pounds. Reservations must be made for your trail ride and can be reserved up to 180 days in advance. Call 407-WDW-PLAY
Do you need some time just for yourself and want to feel pampered? Head over to one of the Disney World spas. You can go to one of three spas located on site. They are Senses Spa at the Grand Floridian and also Saratoga Springs.
The Grand Floridian Spa has one of the best Spas. From saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools, baths steeped in flowers, deluxe facial, hand and foot massages, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, manicures and many other wonderful treatments. Reservations for your spa treatment at Grand Floridian can be made up to a year in advance by calling 407-939-7727. Call as far in advance as possible. Reservations are highly recommended.
The Spa at Saratoga Springs has ten treatment rooms. You can enjoy the warm seafoam mud wrap and Seaweed Hydro Massage, and hydrotherapy. The spa also features body wraps and scrubs along with other numerous treatments. Call 407-939-7727. Call as far in advance as possible. Reservations are highly recommended.
Want to stay in shape while on vacation? If so head over to one of the health clubs. Choose from the Olympiad at Contemporary, Sturdy Branches at Wilderness Lodge, Zahanati at Animal Kingdom Lodge, La Vida at Coronado Springs, Muscles & Bustles at Board Walk, and Ship Shape at Yacht and Beach Club. You can get prices for a one day pass, length of stay pass or a family length of stay pass. The Olympiad health club offers nautilus equipment, cardiovascular machines and massages. The other health clubs offer more extensive equipment.

Do you love to play tennis? Disney World has 25 courts located all through out the resort. The Contemporary is home to 6 courts and a professional shop. The Contemporary even has a state of the art hydrogrid clay court. Most courts on Disney property are hard courts.
The courts are usually open from 7am - 7pm. So you can get up nice and early and get a game in. However courts at the Swan and Dolphin are open 24 hours.
At Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Swan and Dolphin there is a small hourly charge. All other courts are free.
Would you like to learn to play better? Disney offers an instruction program. You can choose from private, semiprivate or group lessons. Fees do apply Call 407-WDW-PLAY for current prices and to make reservations.
